Terminal Description
Welcome to the Knight Transportation Reno Terminal, the most unique and family-oriented terminal in the West. Opened in 2005, our success stems from our strong family atmosphere and the trust we share with our drivers.
Strategically located in Reno/Sparks, we can accommodate a day’s drive in any direction to reach key markets such as Southern California, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Portland. This prime location creates opportunities for our drivers to stay close to home while remaining productive and earning a great paycheck. Our terminal, situated on the edge of town and sharing a property line with the Petro truck stop, is uniquely positioned to offer convenience and accessibility.
Reno’s “Biggest Little City in the World” structure enhances our family atmosphere, making us a smaller terminal of about 60-70 drivers, each of whom we know on a personal level. We pride ourselves on the genuine love and kindness we show everyone who walks through our doors. Taking the time to ask about our drivers’ backgrounds and interests fosters a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued.
Our location offers more than just convenience for truckers. The Reno/Sparks area is packed with amazing casinos, restaurants, and annual events such as Street Vibrations, Artown, BBQ, Brew & Blues, the Reno River Festival, Reno Rodeo, Rib Cook-Off, Hot August Nights, the Reno Balloon Races, and the Italian Festival. Additionally, Lake Tahoe is a short 45-minute drive away, offering beautiful scenery, lodging, restaurants, and numerous events.
