New AZ Dry TM: Meet Steve Erkelens

We are pleased to introduce Steve Erkelens as the new Terminal Manager for our AZ Dry Terminal. Steve has been with Knight for seven years, starting in 2017 as a Driver Manager on the Arizona team. Since then, he has taken on several roles, including DDM in Nashville, DM for AZ’s O/O division, planning for the Arizona and SoCal markets, and becoming a team lead for regional accounts.

Throughout his time with Knight, Steve’s favorite part of the job has been building relationships with both drivers and office staff. Now, as Terminal Manager, he is focused on fostering a strong culture and driving production. He is especially excited about the opportunity to learn, grow the team, and meet new people along the way.

Steve recently moved to Litchfield Park with his wife and their two dogs, Bentley and Toby. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, training in Jiu-Jitsu, hiking, and exploring new restaurants.
