Victor G - 2025 Lead Technician of the Year (Phoenix, AZ)
Congratulations to Victor G, our 2025 Lead Technician of the Year, based in Phoenix, AZ. Fifteeen years ago, Victor joined Knight with uncertainties about the future. Since then, he’s become a pillar of reliability, teamwork, and productivity.
A frequent runner-up for this award in years past, Victor now officially claims his place among the best diesel technicians in our network. His efforts have kept our trucks on the road and our drivers moving forward safely – and we’re proud to honor his leadership and legacy.

Victor G. - 2025 Lead Technician of the Year
KJ – 2025 Diesel Technician of the Year (Salt Lake City, UT)
KJ, our 2025 Diesel Technician of the Year, works at the Knight Shop in Salt Lake City, UT. A graduate of the DATC diesel program in Kaysville, he completed the program before finishing high school – a clear sign of his early passion for truck repair.
KJ briefly stepped away from the shop to drive trucks locally but ultimately returned to his calling as a technician. Known for his precision, knowledge retention, and willingness to mentor others, KJ brings a team-first approach that elevates everyone around him. He’s a prime example of what makes a top-tier Salt Lake City truck technician.
Josh – 2025 Body Shop Technician of the Year (Phoenix, AZ)
Meet Josh, our 2025 Body Shop Technician of the Year, based at the Knight Shop in Phoenix, AZ. After transitioning from the automotive industry in 2023, Josh adapted to the world of heavy-duty truck repair with impressive speed. Within just six weeks, he was confidently handling complex collision repairs.
Josh’s manager, Steve, notes that “he has continued to improve his skills and become a valued part of our team.” His. 140-mile round-trip commute to work is a powerful testament to his commitment, grit, and work ethic. His growth is just beginning, and we’re excited to support him as he continues to evolve as a top Phoenix body shop technician.
