Welcome our newest Terminal Managers, Bailee, Tyson, Erica, and Michelle! We’re so excited to have them here and can’t wait to see what the future holds for us with them in these leadership roles.
Bailee will be leading the Charlotte Dry Terminal, Erica will be taking over the Las Vegas Dry Terminal, Tyson will be overseeing the Salt Lake City Reefer Terminal, and Michelle will be in charge of the Dallas Reefer Terminal. All four of them are experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic leaders, and they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their new roles.
We know they will all do a great job, and we are confident that they will help us continue to provide the highest quality service. Please join us in giving them a warm Knight welcome!
Bailee Baltich- Charlotte Dry
Bailee has been with Knight since 2018, bringing a wealth of experience in recruiting, account management, driver management, and planning to her current role as Terminal Manager.
Throughout her time with Knight, Bailee has cherished the opportunity to meet and work with many great people. Her primary goal for the Charlotte terminal is driver growth, with a vision to see the terminal reach over 150 trucks. Bailee is particularly excited about the opportunity to develop the terminal and foster close relationships with all the driving associates.
Recently, she celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary, and she and her husband enjoy traveling and exploring new places together.
Erica Fretz- Las Vegas Dry
Erica Fretz has been with Knight for 21 years, cherishing the relationships she has built with other team members and fostering a positive team environment. Among her best memories are attending leadership conferences, including the MLB All-Star game with Terminal Managers and VPs, and the recent 70’s themed conference in downtown Phoenix, which featured a concert and a stay at Talking Stick Resort.
Erica is not new to the Las Vegas Terminal Manager position, having opened the Vegas terminal in 2004 and held the TM role for 15 years prior. She enjoys building a team within her terminal and developing a strong operations team by setting clear expectations for success.
Her immediate goals for the Las Vegas Dry team include leading the company in production and RPTPD, improving tractor damage, and developing future leaders who can grow at Knight Transportation.
Erica’s family is originally from the East Coast but now resides in the Las Vegas area. She has an identical twin sister who is an elementary teacher and recently had two identical twin girls in 2020, whom Erica adores. She also has a furry son, Wally, a Cavapoo who is simply the best.
In her free time, Erica enjoys traveling internationally (Europe, Mexico, Japan), playing tennis, attending live concerts, and watching her favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. She has a keen interest in documentary films and podcasts, particularly those focused on pop culture or true crime. She also enjoys true crime shows like Dateline and 20/20. Some of her favorite movies include Goodfellas, The Sandlot, JoJo Rabbit, Dazed and Confused, The Bodyguard, and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
Michelle Mudge- Dallas Refrigerated
Michelle Mudge has been with Knight for six years, appreciating the opportunity to move into different roles within the company. She has transitioned to new roles every 2 to 2.5 years, keeping her career exciting and dynamic. One of her best memories is from her time as a Driver Manager for Phoenix Reefer, where they had a Christmas party at Topgolf.
As the Terminal Manager for the Dallas refrigerated terminal, Michelle’s primary goal is to grow the OTR fleet by bringing in new customers and re-establishing relationships with previous ones. She is most excited about becoming a successful refrigerated terminal with a team of seasoned colleagues.
Michelle is married to Trevor Mudge, the TOP GUN Dallas facilitator, and they have been together for 1.5 years. She adores her two stepsons, Caleb (13) and Joseph (11), as her own. Michelle is very much a cat lady, with five cats and one dog. In her free time, she enjoys reading, karaoke, bingo, and taking her kids to Six Flags on weekends. As an avid reader, she recommends anything by Nicholas Sparks for those who enjoy romance novels.
Tyson Quintana- Salt Lake City Reefer
Tyson Quintana has been with Knight for 17 years, and throughout his tenure, he has formed great friendships with many wonderful people. As the Salt Lake City Refrigerated Terminal Manager, his primary goals are to build strong relationships with his team and grow the truck count.
Tyson is particularly excited about meeting new drivers and tackling the challenges that come with taking over a new terminal, acknowledging that change is often difficult for everyone.
Tyson’s family includes his mom, two siblings, a daughter, a son-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter who is almost two years old. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and attending sporting events.
